● S-OIL donated a total of 25 billion won for 25 solid years.
S-OIL on Jan. 24 said that it delivered a donation of 3 billion won to the Community Chest of Korea in support of the 2024 Hope Sharing Campaign in Jung-gu, Seoul. The ceremony was attended by S-OIL CEO Anwar Al-Hejazi, President Ryu Yul, and CCK Chairman Kim Byong-joon, etc.
The refiner delivered the same donation this year as last year. It increased the amount by 1 billion won in 2023 to increase its support for low-income households and vulnerable groups in Ulsan. The Love of Neighbor Donation will not only be used for low-income households and vulnerable groups but also for programs to assist social workers, volunteers, social welfare centers, and other relevant groups.
Since 2004, S-OIL has steadily delivered donations to the CCK. Its donations that have been made for 21 years total 25 billion won.
