MTBE (Methyl Tert-Butyl Ether)
MTBE is produced from esterification reaction of Isobutene in C4 Mixture from RFCC with Methanol under catalyst. MTBE is a liquid with unique aroma and transparent color at normal temperature and pressure. It is mainly used in Gasoling Blending Stock (94%) and partially used as a Chemical Feedstock (6%) for producing MMA (methyl Methacrylate).
