SUPER Project

S-OIL is currently undergoing the SUPER Project to raise profitability by increasing production of high value-added products.
S-OIL is currently undergoing the SUPER (S-OIL Upgrading Program of Existing Refinery) Project to raise profitability by increasing production of high value-added products at the same time reducing operating costs in refining and petrochemical businesses.

Goal of SUPER Project

When the SUPER Project is completed, bunker-c production will decrease and high value ULSD(Ultra-Low Sulfur Diesel) production will increase about 10%.
Increase of high-value product productivity by developing intermediate dismantle, Increase of handling amount and increase of product quality through the development of Lube Base Oil Production Facility and Aromatic Complex, Long-term and continuous reduction of factory operation fee and development of energy efficiency
Also, paraxylene production will increase 5% and benzene production will increase over 8%. By producing more high value-added products from the same amount of crude oil, it will be able to reduce production costs and raise profitability at same time.

Through the SUPER Project, S-Oil will obtain more solid and competitive advantage in the intrinsic businesses.
