● S-OIL presented KRW 210 million to 70 children of fallen firefighters

On Aug. 28th, S-OIL(Representative Director: Hussain Al-Qahtani) presented 210 million Won in scholarship to 70 children of fallen firefighters at Yongsan Fire Station. Each child received KRW 3.0 million.
CEO of S-OIL Hussain Al-Qahtani asked recipients of scholarship to keep their late father’s sacrifice and bravery to their heart and take it as a driver to fight difficulties they may face in their lives. “S-OIL promises to be on the journey as your reliable sponsor” said CEO Al-Qahtani.
S-OIL has been presenting scholarship to children of fallen firefighters since 2006 as part of the ‘Hero Firefighter Program’. The scholarship is aimed at helping the children overcome emotional trauma and focus on their studies.
S-OIL’s scholarship to 1,259 students since 2006 totals KRW 3.6 billion. The scholarship is provided to children of all ages until they finish their education and serves as a foundation for them to become a good citizen.
