● S-OIL donated 330 mil. won to the Korea National Council on Social Welfare for ‘Service Station Sharing N Campaign’
● S-OIL conducted volunteer work with S-OIL employees and operators of 300 service stations nationwide
S-OIL (CEO Othman Al-Ghamdi) employees will give donations to community welfare facilities and conduct volunteer activities jointly with its affiliated service stations. S-OIL Corporation President Park Bong-soo held the Service Station Sharing N Campaign Donation Ceremony at Goo-doil Service station in Seodaemoon-gu, Seoul on Mar. 28 and delivered 330 mil. won to Suh Sang-mok, Chairman of the Korea National Council on Social Welfare (KNCSW.)
S-OIL sales representatives and the operators of S-OIL service stations will give donations to welfare facilities and carry out volunteer activities such as distributing food, cleaning, and bathing the elderly through the Service Station Sharing N Campaign. For this campaign, S-OIL organized the S-OIL Service Station Public Service Corps. Out of 22 sales branches nationwide and have regular volunteer works with service stations operators.
S-OIL official said “The Service Station Sharing N Campaign is the program which connects CSR activity with service stations knowing well about local communities and situations,” and he added “It is very meaningful that S-OIL officers and employees commit to spreading this sharing culture across society through voluntary participation.”
Since 2011, S-OIL Officers and employees have joined hands with service stations carrying out the Service Station Sharing N Campaign to help community welfare facilities and it has donated 3.2 billion won to 2,300 service stations for eight years.
