S-OIL Presents Maritime Police Couples with ‘Jeju Holiday Camp’
● S-OIL invites maritime police officers working on the sea and remote islands and their spouses to ‘Jeju Holiday Camp’
- It extends ‘The Hero Maritime Police Support Program’ to inspire their pride and boost morale.
S-OIL(CEO: Nasser Al-Mahasher) held ‘S-OIL Maritime Police Couples Holiday Camp’ on Jeju Island for 3 days from Oct. 6th to 8th, inviting 35 maritime police couples(70 people).
The refiner made the Hero Maritime Police Support Program agreement and is the sole company that consistently maintains maritime police supporting activities. Especially for this event, S-OIL preferentially selected long-service field workers in order to ease their stress under the tough working conditions, such as on the sea, the seashore and remote islands and to strengthen couples’ love.
The couples attended the opening ceremony at the KAL hotel of Seogwipo and looked around various tourist attractions like Seongsan Ilchulbong, Ecoland, Aquaplanet, and traditional market in Jeju. In the evening they enjoyed recreation activities and then took a rest.
In 2013, S-OIL made the Hero Maritime Police Support Program agreement and has since then been providing various programs such as giving commendations to the best maritime police, compensating maritime police injured on duty, and granting scholarships to the children of maritime police who died while on duty.
